Hayakawa Yoshio
Description:
The only solo album left by Yoshio Hayakawa, a pioneer of Japanese rock music, on URC! URC (Underground Record Club), a pioneer of Japanese indie label, was born in 1969 and ended its activities at the end of the 1970s. URC is the grandfather of Japanese folk/rock music, with such cutting-edge talents as Wataru Takada, Kenji Endo, Five Red Balloons, Ryo Kagawa, Happiendo, Nobuyasu Okabayashi, and many others. In 2023, the rights to release the CDs were transferred to Sony Music, which will begin reissuing many of URC's masterpieces in June. This album, "How Uncool It Is to Be Cool," was released in November 1969, just after the breakup of Jax. The entire piece differs greatly from the band's sound, and is almost exclusively narrated by the band members, speaking nakedly of the sense of entrapment that human beings have. The songs are filled with a gloomy atmosphere, and every time you listen to them, his cry of loneliness is conveyed to you in a heavy and sad way. The song "Salvia no Hana" has been covered by various artists. 2023 latest remastering/High-quality Blu-spec CD2 specification.
