The band's latest album is the first in four years, and features sharp performances that have restored the sharpness of the past. Formed in 1979 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, the band emerged in the midst of the NWOBHM movement with their fast-paced, twin-lead, melodic music. The band's first album, "Court In The Act" (1983), was highly acclaimed as a timeless classic and had a major influence on later speed metal and thrash metal. The band released several albums, changing their name to BLIND FURY and PARIAH as the members changed, before disbanding in 1989. After restarting under different names and participating in festivals in the early 2000s, the band officially reunited as SATAN in 2011. This latest album is their first in four years since their last album, "Cruel Magic". Production was again carried out at the band's home studio in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and although work began in October 2020, the entire process was halted due to the UK-wide lockdown to combat infectious diseases. The band attempted to resume work in the spring of 2021, but the recording engineer was hospitalized in critical condition, followed by an injury to one of the band members, and when both of them returned to work, the studio system went down. Although a certain amount of time has passed since the reunion and restart, the band's performance and songs are so passionate that the composition of the members at the time of the first album's production is still the best.The recent global situation has been a springboard for growth and proficiency to take everything to the next level and produce a complete revival.
