The Cordial series was one of Quistgaard's greatest successes. The production began in 1960 by Kronjyden / Nissen. In 1972 Bing & Gröndahl acquired Nissen and continued production. 1988, after Royal Copenhagen took over Bing & Gröndahl, the production stopped. The Cordial series is made of stoneware in a grayish glaze. The pattern consists of hearts, hence the name Cordial. At the end of the production period, Bing and Gröndahl, together with Quistgaard, created the Cordial Pallet series. This colored variant is very rare and difficult to find due to quality issues and low production quantity.
