Handmade ultralight and very minimal dog leash. This leash is just 23-24 grams and can easily fit in your pocket. Standard leash is approximately 5.5 feet (66") from the end of the handle to the start of the carabiner.

The rope for this leash is ultra-high strength AmSteel cordage, made of Dyneema fibers. Dyneema is the strongest fiber on earth, 15x stronger than steel, so despite the cord being just 7/64" and very light, the cord has break strength of 1600 lbs. The rope is spliced rather than knotted to maintain strength.

The handle is made of ultralight Venom UHMWPE webbing. This webbing has breaking strength of 1800 lbs, but is extremely lightweight. It also has a nice feel on your hand and wrist as a handle.

There are 2 carabiner options.  The Been Campin biner is a generic 2.25" small carabiner.  These are sold individually on the accessories section of the shop.  The ProClimb biner is essentially the same size but a slightly different shape.  The ProClimb biner is rated to 4kn, or about 900 lbs of break strength.   The Been Campin carabiners should be strong enough for all dogs, but the ProClimb is the way to go if you are concerned about break strength.  

The whole package weighs just 23-24 grams and fits in the palm of your hand.
