Cascina Maddalena sits on the shores of beautiful Lake Garda, cultivating just 4 ha of vines in this unique micro-climate.  The area's clay and mineral rich soils were formed many years ago, as this area used to be a swamp and still remains today sandy when wet, and rock hard when dry. Inhospitable to most agriculture, it is exceptional for the local grape Turbiana, that the Zordan family are so dedicated to. Third generation vigneron Mattia is now at the helm, implementing sustainable and organic practices in the vineyard and minimal intervention in the winery.
