A personal favourite of our founder, Ashley, her is a masterclass in tonal balance. This larger midcentury Swedish coastal scene distills the essence of a shoreline into planes of colour and light. Cool gradients of teal, slate, and seafoam drift across the canvas like the tide itself, while a beached rowboat, stylised and softly abstracted, rests quietly in the foreground. There’s a stillness here, but also a pull, a subtle invitation to step in and stay awhile. The frame is worthy of special note, beautifully crafted and hefty. The composition feels both modern and nostalgic, equally at home in a pared-back gallery wall or anchoring a sun-drenched, cozy nook.
