The Beatles
Description:
In October 2022, a special edition of the 1966 album "Revolver" was released simultaneously worldwide and became a huge hit, and more than 50 years after their breakup, their works are still long sellers. The band's greatness is still known through Paul and Ringo's new works as well as those of the artists who inherited their DNA. The Beatles' rare live archive of 1960s TV and radio broadcasts has been newly remastered and released!
The Beatles made their sensational debut in 1963 with the album "PLEASE PLEASE ME" and quickly became a worldwide phenomenon. During their world tour in 1964 and 1965, their concerts were fully recorded and broadcast on local radio stations. This is a live album using the recordings from that tour. (1)-(12) were recorded at Convention Hall in Philadelphia, USA, on September 2, 1964, and their rough and ready performance can be heard with a unique sense of presence. (13)-(23) are from the nighttime concert in Paris on June 20, 1965, where the Beatlemania's thunderous cheers are noticeable, and show their high performance ability even in the poor live environment of the time. (24)-(28) are bonus tracks, recorded from their performance on the popular British music program "BLACKPOOL NIGHT OUT" on August 1, 1965.
