Why this aircraft matters

N184CJ began its life as a Saab 340B (MSN 184) in 1990. It supported regional service under multiple operators until Colgan Air took it on in March 2005, flying under the Continental Connection brand. 

It carried passengers across regional hubs such as Boston, Houston, Newark, and Washington–Dulles. It connected smaller towns to major airline networks. In 2012, Colgan Air and the Continental Connection banner were phased out as part of industry consolidation, marking the end of an era.
