Tall hand thrown soda fired ceramic vase with gloss white liner.  Form is a rustic and organic cylinder-esque shape created from an iron rich clay that fired earthy brown, light brown, reddish brown, speckled and glossy in soda kiln.  It is about 8.75 inches high, has approximately a 2.25 inch mouth and is 3 inches at its widest.  Pottery and ceramics made by Nathan Cearley for Species by the Thousands here in the Catskills region.
