Bose Size of the Sky" consists of previously unreleased studio recordings, recorded between January 1968 and February 1970, and of the 13 songs that will be included on this album, 10 are previously unreleased. Many of the songs were recorded with the trio of Jimi Hendrix (G/Vo), Billy Cox (B), and Buddy Miles (Ds), who would become known as the Band of Gypsies, while others were recorded with Mitch Mitchell, Noel Redding, Stephen Stills, Johnny Winter, Duane Hitchings (Buddy Miles Express/Piano), Dallas Taylor (CSN&Y/Ds), Ronnie Youngblood (Curtis Knight & The Squires/Vo & Sax) and other guests. Produced by Jayne Hendrix, John McDermott, and Eddie Kramer, who have worked on Jimi Hendrix releases since 1996. (C)RS
