Provenance

Original to c.1925, this Art Deco sapphire and diamond cluster ring is so unique and beautifully crafted. Everything about it screams Art Deco and we totally love it! Set to centre with three natural blue sapphires that are perfectly matched in colour. They have a pleasing Mediterranean blue-hue that can't help but put your mind to ease! Step-cut and rub-over set, surrounded by a cluster of round old-cut diamonds in grain-settings bordered by a further millegrain edge. The diamonds follow an elongated, octagonal outline which extends across the finger with elegance and ease to offer a very flattering fit on the finger. 

The ring's gallery is nice and low in profile and intricately pieced with a decorative design. The shoulders are stunning. They effortlessly taper from the head of the ring and are hand-engraved with palm motifs that come to a point and flow to a solid platinum shank. This ring is so interesting and unusual and such a joy to wear - a true one-of-one!
