Lavish vintage formal skirt suit from Bill Blass will make you feel like royalty! I've never seen so much gold braid and embroidery, beads, rhinestones - and more - on a jacket before. Words can't descibe its stunning intricacy, so please enlarge and examine the photos for a better description. In addition to the wide embellished yoke - both front and back - the jacket has decorative knotted buttons in gold metallic braid that hide little hooks and fabric "eyes" for closure. The pencil skirt has a hidden back zipper. There are no fabric tags, but both pieces appear to be made in a soft, peach-colored wool, and both pieces are double-faced instead of being lined. Both pieces are also covered in gold lamé lace woven throughout a tulle matrix. All aspects of this couture suit are luxury at its utmost! Labeled size 8.
