This delicate floral design originates from Skokloster Castle in Sweden, where the original fabric adorns both canopy curtains and upholstered chairs. The pattern reflects the refined elegance of mid-18th-century French indienne cottons, later imported and cherished in Nordic interiors.

Set against a pale blue, finely striped background, scattered bouquets of roses, berries, and butterflies unfold in tones of red, blue, and beige.
