The Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 is a winter tire manufactured for passenger, SUV and light truck vehicles. The tire has great winter weather traction and it grips the road both on snow and ice thanks to the special tread design and the NanoPro Tech Multicell tire compound used in its manufacture. This compound with its Hydrophilic Coating removes water from the tire surface to enhance winter weather traction. This, combined with the excellent hydroplaning prevention of the wide circumferential and lateral grooves that channel water and slush from below the tire footprint, increases the tire’s road grip on all snow and ice covered roads.
