The Shell in Houndstooth Silver by egg is the perfect companion baby's travels, keeping them safe and secure on the road from birth to approximately 15 months. The egg Shell comes with a comfortable memory foam headrest that provides optimum cushioning, comfort, and protection for your little one in addition to enhanced inner-body padding, that ensures comfort from newborn age and provides important support for both the side and upper leg muscles on car journeys to help facilitate healthy growth and development. Once your baby's muscles have strengthened, these key protective cushions can be removed to make room for your little one to grow into their seat up to 13kg. 

Shell can be combined with your egg stroller in order to be transformed into a clever and convenient travel system using the multi-car seat adaptors (sold separately) and allows you to easily use the multi-position handle of the car seat to lock it into position without disturbing your little one too much. The handle boasts 3 different positions in total, and the 3rd position forms a smart stabiliser so that when you place the car seat on a flat surface it remains stable so that your little one can feel secure and safe whether in the car or in the house.

egg Shell comes with a comfy and secure 3-point safety harness that offers push-button release for easy access to your baby. It offers single pull securing and easy adjustment so that you can always find the most comfortable and protective position for your little one on every trip. The safety harness features matching should and crotch pads that offer essential padding and comfort when braking. 

Shell's high level of comfort doesn't end with the harness. A retractable 4-position canopy is perfect for providing your little one with essential protection from harmful UV rays beaming through the car window and has been stitched with the same fabric as the rest of the seat to provide a seamless curvature that is reminiscent of the iconic egg curve. 

egg Shell can be installed using your car's 3-point seat belt (ECE R44/04). egg Shell also offers ISOFIX installation with the addition of the egg Shell ISOFIX base (sold separately) for enhanced security and protection. The Shell ISOFIX base features an extendable leg and a rebound bar to provide added stability. It comes with visual indicators that help you to quickly and correctly install the car seat for your peace of mind.
