Oh boy! True Ecuador Panama straw capelines are a thing of beauty. Often used in high-end millinery, these capelines made from toquilla straw are known for their breathability and ability to bounce back into shape. It often took days for a skilled weaver to complete even just one capeline. They really are special.

We obtained a few of these beauties from a long-time hat manufacturer in England. These examples date to the 1980s-90's and we are so happy to share them with you! 

This capeline has a really interesting open weave with diamond details on the crown and brim. Sadly there is an ever so slight colour fade from crown to brim - it is really slight but we are still offering this one at a great price to reflect the imperfection.

Flat measurement from crown tip to brim: 11 inches
Brim width from side crown to brim edge: 11.5cm
