Made of shiny laminated raffia threads, it has a lovely gloss to it, famously made in Switzerland. We have seen styles like this produced in the 1940s/50s, but the labelling appears to be more 1980s to us - in any case it's got some age to it!
Fabric measures 50cm wide and is sold by the metre (1.09 yards). Multiple lengths purchased will arrive as one long continuous piece.
