The Pad lounge series attains its special character from the combinations of materials, tactility and shape. Molded shells in oak veneer stand in contrast to a soft padded front, while a metal frame adds strength and airiness. Pad lounge chairs are made up of a solid steel or aluminium frame, in which sections of strong oak veneer form the backrest and seat. The veneer is fitted with molded PU foam, which is then upholstered by skilled upholsterers. The shape is boxy, yet perfectly rounded; Organic texture and warmth flirt with cool shine in the meeting of wood, textile and metal. The front-padded design is as comfortable as it is elegant, making Pad the perfect addition to the sophisticated lounge or lobby.
The Pad series comprises a high and a low lounge chair, as well as a complementing footstool. You can choose between three base variants: A black or grey static steel frame, a flexible swivel base in black or polished aluminium or a base with swivel and tilt function in black or polished aluminium for extra mobility. All three in combination with a back of oak or black-painted oak with upholstery in three different qualities in a wide variety of shades. Pad is made to order.
