Clint Eastwood stars in this triple bill of Westerns directed by Sergio Leone.
In 'A Fistful of Dollars' (1964), when the Man with No Name (Eastwood) arrives in the small border town of San Miguel, he learns of an ongoing feud between the Rojo brothers and Sheriff John Baxter (Wolfgang Lukschy) and his family. Both sides seek to control the town and the man decides to exploit their hate for each other for his own benefit.
'For a Few Dollars More' (1965) follows bounty hunters the Man With No Name and Colonel Douglas Mortimer (Lee Van Cleef). They are separately hunting the ruthless bandit El Indio (Gian Maria Volonté) who is responsible for multiple bank robberies and murders. After confronting each other, they reluctantly agree to join forces and the Man With No Name earns a place on El Indio's crew as they plan another bank robbery.
Will the two men succeed in working together to stop the bandits from continuing their reign of terror?
Finally, 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' (1966) is set during the American Civil War when the paths of three dangerous loners - bounty hunter Blondie (Eastwood), bandit Tuco (Eli Wallach) and mercenary Angel Eyes (Van Cleef) - cross as they search for a fortune in stolen Confederate gold hidden in a grave. Blondie and Tuco do not trust each other but are forced to work together because they each only know half of the information they need to locate the gold. Meanwhile, the ruthless and sadistic Angel Eyes is also searching for the treasure and as the three men race to reach it, their fates will be decided in a legendary three-way duel.
