So the agave used is both from Highlands and Lowlands Jalisco, the agave is cooked both with brick and stone ovens and crushed both by Tahona stone and roller mill. This extraordinary process makes for a truly unique tequila. For this cristalino, an añejo and extra-añejo, both aged in French oak were blended before being filtered through a carbon filter to remove some of the color and taste of wood, leaving behind nothing but a spicy and sweet tequila.
