Puma’s second season as Arsenal’s kit supplier did not disappoint, as the home and away shirts were nothing short of modern classics! This away shirt drew roots from the iconic 2001-02 gold away shirt where that season’s Premiership title was won at Old Trafford against Manchester United! While no such heroics would be repeated 14 years later, the club did finish in 2^nd place; their highest finish since finishing 2^nd in the 2004-05 season! This shirt took on diamond embossed pattern that Puma used to across the board that season, while complementing the gold backdrop with navy sleeves to create a fantastic combination.
