The Cross Century Classic was introduced in 1982, and after a long break has now been revived as the Century ll.  This is an early, original example, made in Ireland.

The pen is finished in epoxy Matt black with 23 Ct. gold filled trim. At 13.6 cm. capped and 14.8 cm. posted it is a good sized, slim pen with a very solid, high quality feel.

The barrel and cap have gold filled thin terminal rings, there is also a gold filled barrel end plate. This appears to be an upgrade to the standard pen which lacks these features.

The pen is presented in the original luxury Cross box along with a guarantee/instruction leaflet, ink converter, and box of five ink cartridges.  The pen and accessories are all in perfect, unused condition.

The Cross pen company was founded in 1846 and is still going strong today so the pen has an excellent pedigree.  Although it has a modern, and slightly quirky appearence the Century Classic could well be over fifty years old.  It would make an attractive and reliable daily writer.
