his hand knotted wool vintage Romanian rug with Adirondack Lodge style features a hexagonal medallion flanked with a lozenge at either end anchored with small diamond pendants floating in a camel colored field. The medallion and lozenges are filled with a large-scale cruciform cross motif, diamonds, and rosettes with latch-hook edges. Midnight ink blue spandrels and ziggurat mounds are filled with complementary motifs and outlined with latch-hook edges. It is enclosed with a traditional Herat border flanked with inner and outer carnation Meander guard borders. Leafy tendrils and crenelated fence guard bands appear in between borders, adding movement to the overall design. Tradition meets tribal elements in this neutral earth-tone carpet in warm earth-tone hues.
