High quality low-noise switched mode 12VDC at 1.5A wall-wart compatible with all Effectrode pedals. Accepts 100V to 240VAC mains input and comes with different mains outlet adapter plugs, so there is always a plug that fits the country that you are playing in.

This wall-wart includes the following adapters as standard:

USA – NEMA 1-15 ungrounded (Type A)

UK – BS 1363 (Type G)

EUROPE – CEE “Europlug” (Type C)

Australasian standard AS/NZS 3112 (Type I)

This 12V Wall-wart power supply is center positive and has the correct power output to operate your Effectrode pedal properly.

Most power supplies are designed for low-power transistor/opamp pedals and simply cannot supply enough juice for real vacuum tube gear. Effectrode pedals are more like tube amplifiers in their power supply requirements and demand high currents and voltages to operate correctly.

A typical transistor pedal will use in the order of just a few milliamps, the Effectrode pedals with three tubes require a minimum of 1200mA.

The PC-2A compressor, MERCURY fuzz, Fire Bottle boost and Glass-A require around 600mA.
