How do the heat extractor vents work?

The vents are functional—they create an air gap that allows hot air to escape from the engine bay naturally. This reduces underhood temperature, especially during track use or sustained highway driving. Vents are molded into the hood geometry and require no additional ducting or modification.

Will the carbon fiber weave be visible, or should I paint this?

The real carbon weave is visible under the UV-protective clear coat, giving the hood a finished appearance right out of the box. You can leave it as-is for a show-ready look, or sand and refinish with your chosen paint color.
