This classic vintage 1950s circle skirt in bright purple wool felt is quite eye-catching! The quintessential 1950s skirt style, this lovely example has triangular inset panels from hips to hem, to add even more swingy width at the hem. The narrow, fitted waistband fastens with hooks and eyes, and the skirt has a metal side zipper. As is often the case with 1950s felt skirts, the hem has been trimmed rather than hemmed up, since folding the felt adds too much bulk at the hem. In very good condition, this vibrant purple circle skirt has a few loose stiches at the tops of the triangular panels, and one pencil-eraser-sized munch on the back, which does not go all the way through the thick felt fabric (see photos). It is shown here with a crinoline underneath which is not included, although we do sell them--just ask us what we have in stock if you need one!
