This tightly bonded, specially coated automotive masking paper offers excellent resistance to paint solvents, urethanes, base coats and clear coats. When an ordinary masking paper doesn't provide the protection you may need, choose 3M Scotchblok Masking Paper for its excellent resistance to bleed through. Our auto masking paper comes with a polycoated backing to help prevent the strong solvents used in automotive paints, base coats and clear coats from penetrating to the other side, keeping freshly painted surfaces free from contamination. It also protects against dust contamination from paper fibers. When properly applied, this product saves auto body shops from costly clean up and rework associated with accidental paint overspray exposure.
