Do I need a switch to use these fog lights?

No. These housings work with whatever fog light switch and wiring you already have. If you don't have fog lights now, you'll need to source a separate switch kit and wire it in.

Will I need fasteners to install these?

You'll use your existing factory fog light mounting hardware. Check your truck before ordering to confirm you have the fasteners in place—they typically stay with the vehicle if the old housings are removed.

Can I paint the housings, or do they come ready to install?

These come with a finished smoke lens. The housing itself can be painted to match your bumper if desired—prep and paint as you would any plastic body panel.
