Bands considered to be part of the genre include The Specials, The Selecter & Bad Manners in the UK & The Untouchables in the US. The term ‘2 tone’ was coined by the Specials’ keyboardist Jerry Dammers. He was also partly responsible for the iconic Walt Jabsco logo which appeared on album sleeves & posters. The main 2 tone record labels were 2 Tone Records, Go Feet Records & Stiff Records.
