This vintage 1950s outfit is perfect for summer wear! The short sleeved sheath dress has a notched scoop neckline and is fitted to the body with multiple darts. If you get chilly, or just need a bit more conservative yet chic look, pop on the cropped bolero jacket.

FABRIC/COLORS: Woven cotton in an interesting semi-abstract print - lots of squares, ovals and circles - it makes me think of the effect of dozens of antique picture frames and mirrors tightly packed together so you can't see the underlying wall. The colorway is mostly blues and greens with a predominant look of teal, with a bit of white and muted fuschia.

TAGS: No tags at all - I believe this was custom sewn, and nicely done.

CLOSURES: The dress closes with a long metal zipper down the back. The jacket has an unusual large "tab" closure at the top with the bottom part of the jacket open.

CONDITION: It looks like there was probably a decorative button sewn to the tab of the bolero at one time - see closeup. I have shown it with a rhinestone pin in that spot in one photo for inspiration - it is not included with purchase. Other than that, the set is in excellent condition - I don't see any stains, holes, tears or other issues.
