In Carcassonne you develop and expand the area around the French medieval namesake in a bid to gain the most points. On your turn you pull a landscape tile and place in the game space and choose whether to place one of your “meeples” on it. Whether you develop a city, a road, a cloister or farmland will determine the amount of points you gain. Will you go for the safe but low paying roads, or will you tie up your resources in the profitable farmland, in Carcassonne you are always making important decisions.
