Milled chia seeds are a dog's daily superfood and nutritional supplement

Cracked milled chia seeds ensure complete absorption of the seed's nutrients into the dog's body. Rich in nutrients needed by the skin, stomach, hooves, coat & mane/tail, such as omega fatty acids, protein and plenty of fibre. Excellent for dogs too. A brilliant daily superfood for dogs!

Milled chia seeds are absorbed more efficiently and quickly than whole seeds. The milled seeds have the same nutritional composition as whole seeds: low in sugar and starch, but rich in fibre, omega fatty acids and protein!

Chia is rich in soluble fibre (good for the stomach!), minerals and trace elements (especially calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc), vitamins and antioxidants. Chia is rich in important omega fatty acids. The fat content of the seeds is approximately 35%, and about 60% of the fat is alpha-linolenic acid, which is beneficial for the skin — one of the highest concentrations found in the plant kingdom. Studies conducted on dogs have shown that omega fatty acids support joint metabolism in connection with osteoarthritis.

The second most abundant is linoleic acid (20%) and the third is oleic acid (10%). Chia contains approximately one third protein, including lysine.

For the well-being of the skin, coat & mane/tail, digestion and stomach, and for supplementing omega fatty acids and fibre. Can also be used in horses to help remove sand from the gut. An excellent versatile daily nutritional supplement.

An excellent fibre supplement especially for raw-fed dogs. The high omega fatty acid content is beneficial for the skin, joints, ear redness, paws, etc.

Dosage:

( 500 kg): 0,5 dl - 2,5 dl per day. For sand removal max. 3 dl for a maximum of two weeks.

Dogs:

1 tsp - 3 tbsp / day (large / small dogs).

1 dl = approx. 40 g

Recommended to be soaked; at minimum, must be moistened before feeding. Do not feed dry.
